In Asia, the Auricularia auricula is known as Mu-Err, Black fundus, Chinese morel or cloud ear mushroom. The Auricularia edible mushroom, which is popular in Southeast Asia but is also native to us, has been in use for over 1,500 years and is now an integral part of Asian cuisine. Auricularia also has a long tradition as a dietary supplement.
