Collect morning urine in a clean cup. Take the test stick and dip it into the urine with all the test fields for 1 second, pull it out and shake off excess liquid. Compare the color of the test fields with the color scale within 2 minutes.
Read off the corresponding value (pH < 7: acidic; pH = 7: neutral; pH > 7: basic; reading accuracy +/- 0.2 pH;)
Dispose of used test strips. To detect changes in pH, the test should be performed daily over a long period of time. Eating behavior can influence the result. Seek expert advice for evaluation.
