LIVOSTIN 0.5 mg nasal spray 10 ml
LIVOSTIN is an antiallergic (a medicine used to treat hypersensitivity). LIVOSTIN nasal spray is used to quickly and long-term relieve nasal problems, such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, which are caused by allergies (hypersensitivity) to grasses, pollen, mold, dust and other substances.
LIVOSTIN is used to treat adults and children from 6 years of age.
The pack size is 10 ml.
Dosage and method of use
LIVOSTIN nasal spray is produced in the form of a suspension. Therefore, shake the contents of the vial well before each use.
The usual recommended dose for adults and children from six years of age is 2 injections twice a day into each nostril. If the difficulties are very unpleasant, you can repeat the injection 3-4 times a day. Treatment can be continued until the problem improves, but if there is no significant improvement or remission within one week, talk to your doctor about using it again.
In the treatment of perennial allergic problems, the product can be used for several months if it works well.
Ingredients
The active substance is levocabastine as levocabastine hydrochloride. One milliliter of suspension contains 0.5 milligrams of levocabastine, 0.54 mg as levocabastine hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are propylene glycol, disodium phosphate, disodium phosphate monohydrate, hypromellose 2910, polysorbate 80, benzalkonium chloride solution, disodium edetate dihydrate and purified water.
Contraindication

Do not use LIVOSTIN if you are allergic to levocabastine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
LIVOSTIN is not for use in children under 6 years of age.
