Pelpharma StrataXRT Gel
- As it dries, the StrataXRT forms a thin, flexible and protective layer that is gas permeable and waterproof.
- StrataXRT is bacteriostatic and inert.
- StrataXRT has no measurable pH value and therefore has no influence on the skin's sensitive acid mantle. StrataXRT is specifically designed for use on open wounds and damaged skin.
- Can be used immediately after the first irradiation or on first and second degree burns.
- Does not need to be removed prior to irradiation.
ingredients

application
Clean and dry the affected skin or superficial wound.
Apply a very thin layer of StrataXRT® directly to the affected area and allow the gel to dry. StrataXRT® should be applied to affected areas once or twice per day.
For best results, StrataXRT® should be in constant contact with the skin (24 hours a day).
special instructions
- StrataXRT does not cause a bolus effect. The patient can be irradiated without removing the StrataXRT film.
- StrataXRT can be refrigerated for a pleasant cooling effect upon use.
- StrataXRT can be applied to the affected area of skin more often to reduce symptoms such as itching or redness.
If StrataXRT is correctly applied to the affected areas, it should dry within 5-6 minutes. If the drying process takes longer, you may have applied too much. Gently remove any excess with a clean cloth or gauze and wait for the drying process to complete.
Inform the instructions for use, doctor or pharmacist about the effect or possible undesirable effects.
