Ovulation is the release of an egg from the ovary. The egg travels through the fallopian tube after release and can be fertilized by the sperm during this journey. The egg can be fertilized within 24 hours of ovulation. Just before ovulation, the body secretes large amounts of luteinizing hormone (LH). This situation is called "LH wave" and is usually found in the middle of the menstrual cycle. The LH wave triggers the release of the egg from the ovary.

Lady MAX ovulation test is a comprehensive system that helps predict the term ovulation and the period of highest fertility. Pregnancy occurs most often in this period of increased fertility.
Lady MAX ovulation test detects the LH wave in the urine, which indicates that ovulation occurs within 24-36 hours.

Can I use an ovulation test to prevent conception?
No, the test cannot be used as a contraceptive.

Do alcohol or medication affect the test result?
No, but you should consult your doctor if you are taking hormonal medications. Also contraceptive residues, breastfeeding or pregnancy affect the test results.

Why can't I do the first morning urine test?
You can't do the test with the first morning urine because it is most concentrated and testing it may give a false positive result. Any other time is preferable. For best results, we recommend taking the sample at the same time each day during the day between 10-20. hour.

Does the amount of beverages consumed affect the test result?
High fluid intake causes dilution of urine. We recommend limiting fluid intake 2 hours before testing.

If I deduct a positive result when is it appropriate to have sexual intercourse?
If you subtract a positive result, this means that ovulation is likely to occur in 24–48 hours. This is the most prolific period, so we recommend having sexual intercourse within 24 hours and within 48 hours at the earliest.

I had a positive result and unprotected sexual intercourse in that period, but I didn't get pregnant. Why?
There are many factors that affect your ability to become pregnant. It is common for healthy couples to get pregnant only after a few months. If you have not been pregnant for the first month, please continue using the test. If you do not get pregnant in 3–4 months, we recommend that you and your partner consult your doctor.
