Letizen is a medicine used to treat allergy. It alleviates the nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and helps alleviate the symptoms of chronic urticaria of unclear origin. Letizen tablets can be taken by adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age use 1 tablet once a day. The length of treatment depends on the type, course, and duration of the problem. Taking coated tablets is not recommended for children under 12 years of age because this dosage form does not allow a dose adjustment.
The active substance is cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg in one film-coated tablet.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, corn starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, Opadry 33G28707 white (lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol, triacetin).
Letizen contains lactose monohydrate. It is necessary to take into account the intolerance of some sugars.
