Based on current experience, higher doses have not had any adverse effects on the unborn child.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eVitamin B12 is excreted into breast milk.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDriving and operating machinery:\u003cbr\u003eNo special precautions are necessary.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eInteractions with other medicinal products:\u003cbr\u003eNo interactions are currently known.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eChemical incompatibilities:\u003cbr\u003eDue to the instability of vitamin B12, the addition of other medicinal products may result in a loss of the vitamin's effectiveness.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eImportant information regarding certain other ingredients:\u003cbr\u003eVitamin B12 Depot Hevert contains sodium, but less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per ml.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDosage instructions, method and duration of use:\u003cbr\u003eThe following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed Vitamin B12 Depot Hevert differently.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAt the start of treatment, 1 ml of Vitamin B12 Depot Hevert is administered twice a week for the first few weeks after diagnosis (corresponding to 500 µg hydroxocobalamin acetate).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIf impaired vitamin B12 absorption in the intestine is confirmed, 100 µg hydroxocobalamin acetate is then administered once a month.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNote:\u003cbr\u003eIf only part of the ampoule contents is used, the remaining contents must be discarded.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMethod and frequency of use:\u003cbr\u003eVitamin B12 Depot Hevert is usually administered intramuscularly (injected into a muscle). However, it can also be administered slowly intravenously or subcutaneously (injected into a vein or under the skin).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDuration of use:\u003cbr\u003eVitamin B12 Depot Hevert is intended for long-term use.
