The recommended daily intake of vitamin B12 during pregnancy and breastfeeding is 4 micrograms. Based on current experience, higher doses have not had any adverse effects on the unborn child. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is: At the start of treatment, during the first few weeks after diagnosis, one ampoule containing 1 ml of Vitamin B12 Lichtenstein (corresponding to 1000 micrograms of cyanocobalamin) is administered twice a week. If a vitamin B12 malabsorption disorder in the intestine is confirmed, 100 micrograms of cyanocobalamin are then administered once a month.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003eMethod and duration of use:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003eVitamin B12 Lichtenstein is usually administered intramuscularly (injected into a muscle).
