B. Braun Softasept N spray 250 ml
Softasept® N colorless spray is an alcoholic skin disinfectant . It is also suitable for allergy sufferers and children . It does not contain iodine. Softasept® N is intended for skin disinfection before all surgical procedures , punctures, injections, including vaccinations in all areas of healthcare, home care, dialysis and medical practice. It is bactericidal, fungicidal, tuberculocidal, effective against lipophilic viruses including HBV, rotaviruses and polioviruses.

Ingredients
100 g of solution contains : ethanol / ethanol (100%) 74.1 g and propan-2-ol / propan-2-ol 10.0 g.
Use
Undiluted Softasept® N is sprayed on the skin and spread as needed with a sterile swab. The treated areas of the skin should be thoroughly wetted and allowed to dry.
Exposure: Skin poor in sebaceous glands : before injections and punctures min. 15 seconds, before joint punctures, lumbar punctures and before operations min. 1 minute.
Skin rich in sebaceous glands : Keep skin moist for at least 2.5 minutes.
For HBV prophylaxis : Keep skin moist for at least 5 minutes.
