HYALO4 SILICONE ADHESIVE FOAM DRESSING 10 X 10 cm
Silicone Adhesive Non-Border Foam Dressing HYALO4 Silicone Adhesive Non-Border Foam Dressing is sterile and intended for the healing of chronic and acute wounds with moderate to high exudation rates . The outer layer of the cover consists of a pink, water-resistant, low-friction polyurethane film that creates a bacterial barrier. The perforated, silicone, adhesive layer that comes into contact with the wound allows the absorption of exudate and prevents maceration of the skin caused by excess fluid. It also prevents the dressing from adhering to the wound and reduces the pain of changing the dressing by preventing the formation of granulation tissue in the pores of the foam, thereby reducing the trauma of removing the dressing. Covering can be used to treat the following wounds :
- bedsores,
- venous and arterial ulcers of the lower limbs,
- diabetic ulcers,
- postoperative surgical wounds,
- skin abrasions,
- traumatic wounds,
- superficial burns and second degree burns,
- as secondary coverage for cavities.
HYALO4 Silicone Adhesive Non-Border Foam Dressing is suitable for use under a compression bandage and can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the patient's condition and degree of exudation.
The package contains 10 covers of size 10x10 cm.
Dosage and method of use
Hyalo4 Silicone Adhesive Non-Border Foam Dressing can remain in-situ for up to 7 days depending on the patient's condition and degree of exudation . Initially, more frequent dressing changes or good wound care practice may be necessary.
Notice
Do not use HYALO4 Silicone Adhesive Non-Border Foam Dressing if you suffer from hypersensitivity to polyurethane films, foams and silicone. Do not use with oxidizing solutions such as hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide, as this may degrade the absorbent polyurethane component of the cover. Not intended for surgical implantation.
