1. WHAT INOTYOL OINTMENT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Inotyol ointment contains anti-inflammatory and healing-promoting active ingredients.
Indications for use:- Eczema:
acute and chronic eczema (skin inflammation).
- Wounds, abrasions, cracked burns of mild degree (e.g. sunburn)
- Other skin irritations: redness, chilblains, cracks
, open skin blisters,
- uninfected diaper rashes. If there
is no improvement after 48 hours, a doctor should be contacted.

2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE USING INOTYOL OINTMENT

Do not use Inotyol ointment
if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to ichthammolum, witch hazel fluid extract, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide or any of the other ingredients of inotyol ointment.
- for deep wounds, burns of the 2nd and 3rd degree.
Take special care with the use of Inotyol ointment
Before using Inotyol ointment, it is necessary to exclude infection (infestation with pathogens) of the wound. If Inotyol ointment does not improve, it is necessary to check whether an infection has occurred in the wound area in the meantime that requires appropriate treatment.
When using Inotyol ointment with other medicines Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including
medicines obtained without a prescription.
With the simultaneous use of other drugs to be applied to the skin, an impairment of the effect cannot be ruled out.
Pregnancy and lactation
Pregnancy
To date, there is no knowledge in humans about the risks associated with the use of
Inotyol ointment during pregnancy.

The excretion of the active substances into breast milk has not yet been studied.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using any medicine.
Driving and using machines
An influence on the ability to drive and use machines is not expected.
Important information about certain excipients of Inotyol ointment wool wax may cause localized skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).


3. HOW TO USE INOTYOL OINTMENT
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, apply inotyol ointment once or twice a day
to the thickness of a knife and bandage. In case of damage to the skin in the folds of the groin, buttocks or under the breasts,
spread the ointment on strips of gauze and place it in the folds of the
skin. If you have applied a larger amount of Inotyol ointment than you should,no discomfort should be expected, If you forget to use Inotyol ointment Do not use twice the amount if you forget to use the previous application.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, Inotyol ointment can cause side effects, although not everybody
gets them. Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if any of the side effects seriously
affect you or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet.
Contact allergies and intolerance reactions cannot be ruled out.

5. HOW TO STORE INOTYOL OINTMENT

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.
Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the container.
The medicine must not be disposed of in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine if you no longer need it.
This measure helps to protect the environment.

- The active ingredients are: ichthammolum, witch hazel fluid extract, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide 100g ointment contains: 1g ichthammolum, 1g witch hazel fluid extract, 15g zinc oxide, 5g titanium dioxide
- The other ingredients are: liquid paraffin oil, wool wax, yellow petroleum jelly,
lavender oil and purified water.
