Jenamazole 2% vaginal cream 20 g
Jenamazole 2% vaginal cream is used in women to treat vaginal mycoses and vaginitis, which are manifested by itching and redness in the vagina and vulva, burning and swelling of the tissues, often accompanied by a yellowish-white discharge, mostly odorless. In addition, Jenamazole 2% can be used by men to treat inflammation of the glans glans (balanitis), which is manifested by redness, itching and a foul-smelling discharge from the foreskin sac. Jenamazol Vaginal Cream is intended for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.
Dosage
In case of vaginitis, the contents of 1 vaginal cream applicator are introduced into the vagina every evening for 3 consecutive days. A three-day application is usually sufficient. In inflammation of the vulva in women and inflammation of the acorn in men, the cream is applied in a thin layer on the affected area 2-3 times a day, usually 1-2 weeks.It must not be used in girls under 12 years of age. To prevent recurrent infection, it is necessary to treat the sexual partner at the same time.
Ingredients
The active substance is clotrimazole 20 mg in 1 g vaginal cream, the content of the applicator (about 5 g of cream) corresponds to clotrimazole 100 mg.
The other ingredients are sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, spermaceti, cetylstearyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, purified water.
Notice
It may reduce the safety of contraceptive methods, eg when using spermicides, a condom or a pessary.
