L-MESITRAN WOUND OINTMENT, 50 g
L-Mesitran Ointment is a pioneering product based on medical honey, designed to treat wounds, leg ulcers, pressure sores and burns. It has antibacterial properties, acts gradually and can be easily removed according to the local wound cleaning procedure, preventing the secondary siding from sticking to the wound base. L-Mesitran Ointment is indicated for superficial and acute wounds such as cuts, abrasions and transplant sites. Longer in first and second degree burns, chronic wounds such as bedsores, leg, arterial and diabetic ulcers, malignant wounds (promoting deodorization and cleansing), colonized acute wounds and (postoperative) surgical wounds. Dosage and method of use
Tube: Remove the cap, the mouth of the tube and clean the top of the cap with an alcohol swab. Push the top of the lid into the protective foil covering the nozzle, now do not squeeze the tube. Glass: remove protective film and lid. Wound application: Apply a thin layer of L-Mesitran either directly to the wound site and surrounding tissue or with sterile gauze first with a sterile spatula. Cover and fix with appropriate secondary cladding, depending on the amount of fluid leaking from the wound. Check the wound and surrounding tissue regularly as required by local procedures. The frequency of application depends on the amount of exudate and the wound needs. Apply again until it is absorbed (approximately every 24 - 48 hours). Always consult your doctor about wound care procedures.
Ingredients
L-Mesitran Ointment contains 48% medical honey, medical hypoallergenic lanolin (Medilan), sunflower oil, cod liver oil, marigold (Calendula officinalis), Aloe (Aloe barbadensis), vitamins C and E, and zinc oxide.
