1. Before inserting, with your mouth closed and nose pressed, blow gently to clear and equalize any pressure in your ears. For best results, insert earplugs BEFORE takeoff and remove AFTER landing and opening the cabin door. The earplugs can be extended when reaching maximum height, but always slide back in 1 hour BEFORE landing.
2. Reach with your other hand over your head and stretch your ear to straighten the ear canal.
3. With the opposite hand, grab the plug by the stem and insert it in a rotating motion to create an airtight seal.

Pull out the earbuds in a slow and twisting motion to gradually release the seal. Due to the perfect sealing properties, rapid ejection can damage the eardrum. Do not insert the earplugs so deep into your ear that you cannot grab them by the stem with your index finger and thumb. Do not use sleeping plugs while lying down. Use as instructed. Stay away from babies and small children. The product is non-toxic, but can prevent breathing if trapped in a breathing tube, which can lead to serious injury or death.
