Olfen Neo Forte is intended for short-term local symptomatic relief of acute pain, inflammation and swelling in case of soft tissue injuries, such as post-traumatic inflammations of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints, caused by e.g. sprains, sprains or contusions (sports injuries) . Olfen Neo Forte contains the medicinal substance diclofenac , which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The active substance Diclofenac reduces pain associated with inflammation, swelling and improves the patient's mobility and shortens the time to return to normal function. The analgesic effect of the medicinal product after a single dose can last up to 12 hours. The preparation Olfen Neo Forte is intended for adults and adolescents from 14 years of age .

Dosage and method of use

Always take this medicine in accordance with the package leaflet.

Apply twice a day (preferably morning and evening ). Depending on the size of the painful area, use an amount of gel corresponding to the size of a cherry or walnut. Apply the gel to the affected body parts in a thin layer and gently rub into the skin. If your hands are not the treated area, wash them after spreading the gel. Use the product only on intact and uninjured skin. If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 7 days, contact your doctor. If the condition improves, adults can use Olfen Neo Forte for up to 2 weeks without a doctor's recommendation.

Ingredients

The active substance is diclofenac. One g of gel contains diclofenac diethylamine 23.2 mg, which corresponds to diclofenac sodium 20 mg.

Auxiliary substances of the preparation include isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol (E 1520), cocoyl octanodecanoate, liquid paraffin, carbomer, cetostearyl macrogol, diethylamine, oleic acid (E 570), butylhydroxytoluene (E 321), fragrance (contains citronellol, geraniol, benzyl alcohol, linalool , limonene, d-form, citral, farnesol, coumarin, eugenol) and purified water.

Contraindication

Olfen Neo Forte gel is a medicinal product for skin administration, it contains the active substance diclofenacum diethylamine. Use Olfen Neo Forte only on intact, uninjured skin. If you develop a rash, you should stop using Olfen Neo Forte. Avoid sunlight , including tanning beds, while using the product. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Do not use Olfen Neo Forte in the last three months of pregnancy.
