Panzytrat belongs to a group of medicines containing pancreatic enzymes. These enzymes are digestive enzymes. These include in particular lipase, amylase and protease. Lipase breaks down fats in food, amylase breaks down starch and protease breaks down proteins.
The product is in the form of capsules containing microtablets resistant to gastric juice. The capsules are dissolved in the stomach, the microtablets are released and mixed with the food in the stomach, so that the enzymes are effectively released only in the intestine and the food is digested there.
Panzytrat is suitable for adults, adolescents and children (treatment in children must always be supervised by a doctor).
The pack contains 50 tablets.
Dosage and method of use
The capsules are taken with food, with plenty of fluids (eg fruit juices). If you forget to take the capsules during a meal, you must take them immediately after a meal. The capsules should be swallowed whole, do not chew, chew or crush.
The dosage of the product is individual and the dose for sufficient absorption of fats should be determined taking into account the amount and composition of the diet and your current state of health. Any increase or adjustment of the dose must be under the supervision of a physician.
Treatment in children must always be supervised by a doctor.
If you do not feel better within 14 days or if you become overweight, you must consult a doctor.
Ingredients
The active substance is pancreatin corresponding to: Panzytrate 25,000: lipasum 25,000 IU, amylase at least 22,500 IU and protease at least 1,250 IU and Panzytrat 10,000: lipasum 10,000 IU, amylasum at least 9,000 IU and proteasum at least 500 j. The other ingredients are microtablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, microtablet coating: methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion A, triethyl citrate, talc, simethicone emulsion 30%, modified montan wax and capsule: gelatin , titanium dioxide (E171), red and black iron oxide (E172), sodium lauryl sulphate.
Contraindication
Do not take Panzytrat if you are allergic to pancreatin or any of the other ingredients, and if you are allergic to pig protein; The pancreatin contained in Panzytrat comes from the pancreas of pigs. If you are allergic to pork, you may also be allergic to Panzytrat.
