Rapid is a medical device for external use and is used for the rapid and completely painless removal of corns.
Effect
On the one hand, the active ingredients contained in Rapid cause a denaturation of the superficial skin layer, on the other hand, a loosening and dissolution of the layer, whereby it peels off and subsequently leads to a detachment of the corn.
Collodium forms an elastic film and causes the solution to remain on the skin and act on the wart long after application. Due to its oily, nourishing properties, castor oil keeps the collodion membrane soft and flexible.
Application and areas of application
In the morning and evening, brush the corn with the enclosed brush. In order to protect the surrounding, healthy skin from the peeling effect, we recommend covering it well with a fat cream or Vaseline before the treatment.
Shortly after application, a milky white, protective cuticle forms that must not be removed. The ingredients contained in the solution ensure that the corn is softened. After 5 – 7 days, it can then be removed effortlessly. If a residue, the so-called root of the corn, is still noticeable after removal of the white skin, the treatment is repeated.
