SILYMARIN AL 50 - 100 tablets
Silymarin AL 50 is used as adjunctive therapy for chronic inflammatory liver disease, liver cirrhosis (a severe liver disease characterized by overgrowth of connective tissue and nodular remodeling of liver tissue) and toxic liver damage. It does not prevent liver damage.
Dosage and method of use
For adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:
With good tolerability, 2 to 3 coated tablets of Silymarin AL 50 are taken 3 times a day at the beginning of treatment and in severe cases. After improvement of symptoms and in less severe cases, the dose may be reduced to 4 coated tablets per day.
Ingredients
Active Substance: Silybi mariani extract of Siccum raffinate and normatum 20-33.1: 1, extracted with acetone 68.03-75.19 mg (equivalent to Silymarin 50 mg, expressed as silibinin A).
Excipients: Tablet core: lactose monohydrate, carmellose sodium, corn starch, anhydrous colloidal silica, magnesium stearate.
Tablet coating: sucrose (equivalent to 0.01 sugar replacement), calcium carbonate, talc, arabic gum, kaolin, macrogol 6000, liquid glucose, glycerol 85%, titanium dioxide (E172), red and black iron oxide (E172), wax polish (white wax, carnauba wax, shellac).
Contraindication
Silymarin AL 50 is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women without first consulting a physician who will consider the benefit and potential risks of treatment.
The product is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age due to insufficient data.
