VitA-POS eye ointment 5 g
VitA-POS® sterile eye ointment adheres well to the surface of the eye and forms a long-lasting protective film on the eyes . It also relieves the symptoms of burning or itching of the eyes with a feeling of dryness or a foreign body in the eye, which are caused by influences in our surroundings, but also by eye strain.
When is it used?
- when working in front of a computer screen for a long time
- while watching TV
- while driving a car at night
- due to air conditioning (in the car or on the plane)
- in wind, cold, stronger sunlight
- in bad air or in cigarette smoke
- the risk of these problems increases when wearing contact lenses
Dosage
The frequency of dosing is individual, ask your eye doctor for advice. With a strong feeling of dryness in the eye, eye ointment is usually used 3 times a day. When using other moisturizing drops during the day, the eye ointment is applied once a day before bedtime. If another eye product is used, apply VitA-POS® eye ointment 30 minutes apart.
Ingredients
250 IU / g retinol palmitate (vitamin A), thick paraffin, liquid paraffin, sheep's wool wax, white petrolatum.
Use
Eye ointments are used to prevent the tip of the tube from coming into contact with the eye or facial skin.
- Unscrew the tube cap.
- Tilt your head slightly back.
- Pull the lower lid slightly away from the eye and apply a small amount of ointment to the conjunctival sac by lightly squeezing the tube. Squeeze out the ointment with gentle pressure, do not shrink or twist the tube.
- Slowly close the eyelid. Close the tube carefully after use.
Notice
When using VitA-POS® eye ointment during the day, your vision will be limited. You should not drive, take part in road traffic, operate machinery or work without safety. VitA-POS® must not be used while wearing contact lenses.
