For whom is OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL suitable?

During stays abroad, the digestive system can be thrown out of balance by external influences of all kinds (unfamiliar food, altered daily rhythm). It becomes more unpleasant when foreign germs get into our digestive system through the consumption of water, ice cubes or even salads and unpeeled fruit - and the intestine tries to get rid of these invaders again.

While the most common diarrhea pathogens, namely all ETEC strains, are only unpleasant but self-limiting (ie the germs excrete themselves with the diarrhoea), an infection with Salmonella, Shigella and Campylobacter is much more problematic.

How does OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL work?

In OMNi-BiOTiC® REISE, seven specially selected strains of bacteria and the high number of 5 billion highly active "helpers" (intestinal bacteria) per portion ensure that you can enjoy every day of your trip.

An outstanding feature of OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL is the matrix in which the bacteria are embedded: enzymes and roughage massively boost the activity of the synbiotic helpers and guarantee their survival in the hostile environment of the stomach and duodenum - without any chemical aids such as capsules or paint finishes.

How is OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL used?

It is best to start taking 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® TRAVEL (= 5 g) a day before breakfast a few days before the trip. Stir the powder into water, milk, tea or yoghurt, wait at least 1 minute for activation, stir again and then drink. Continue this process throughout the journey.

If you suffer from fructose intolerance, you should extend the activation time to at least 30 minutes. During this time, the bacteria metabolize all of the fructo-oligosaccharides. This means that no fructose gets into the intestines.
