HOW TO APPLY?
Application of COMPEED®

Apply the patch at the first signs of herpes; usually with tingling or itching.
Wash your hands before and after applying the patch.
The patch should be used 24 hours a day until the wound heals. The patch will spontaneously detach after about 8 hours and should be replaced by a new one.
Do not remove the patch to "breathe" the wound. On the contrary, this is counterproductive and may prolong the healing time.
Wash your hands. Make sure your skin is clean and dry. Do not use in combination with creams, the patch would not stick to the haze and could not provide total treatment.
Remove the applicator from its package and hold it with both hands.
Gently pull both ends in the direction of the arrows on the applicator until half the adhesive is exposed. Do not touch the adhesive side of the patch.
Gently press the half-exposed portion of the patch with your finger to hold the patch firmly on the haze.
Gently move the applicator end slowly and away from the skin until the patch slips out of the applicator. You can apply make-up or lipstick to the patch. Wash hands after application.
Remedy: There is no need to replace or remove the patch while it is in place. When it starts to separate from the skin, it needs to be replaced with a new one. Remove the patch by gently pulling it along the skin (in the opposite direction to removing it).
