Beecraft Propolis Oral Gel 20 ml
The propolis mouth gel is a true natural talent: the combination of natural ingredients from propolis extract, sage, chamomile and myrrh protect and care for stressed and irritated mucous membranes alike.
It can be used both inside and outside the mouth, on the lips. Applied inside, on the oral mucosa, it protects and cares for inflamed and irritated mucous membranes. Small blisters, aphthae and cracks in the mouth subside and pressure points are alleviated. Propolis mouth gel is particularly recommended for wearers of braces or dentures and for people with a mouth that is prone to irritation.
Outside the mouth, it nourishes and smoothes chapped lips and cracked corners of the mouth.
What is propolis?
The basic substance of propolis is collected by bees as a resinous substance from the buds and bark of various trees. Only the most experienced and oldest bees in a colony take on this important task. In the search for suitable plant substances, they proceed very carefully. The collected selection is then additionally refined by the bee with ferment, pollen and wax and thus processed into propolis, a unique natural product. A gentle harvest can produce up to 100 g of propolis per year from a beehive. In order to disturb the life of the bees as little as possible, modern methods make use of the natural behavior of the bees.
Protection from the beehive - the natural alternative
Up to 60,000 bees live and work together in a beehive in a very small space at around 35°C. There is a busy coming and going. Propolis is therefore used by the bees to prevent germs from entering the hive. Not only the entrance hole, but the entire hive is covered with a thin layer of propolis on the inside. More than 300 different natural substances contained in propolis protect the beehive from the spread of diseases - and have been doing so for thousands of years.

The ancient Egyptians already used the wide range of effects of propolis. Today it is considered a natural all-rounder. For modern, medical oral and dental care, propolis has proven itself particularly due to its germ-inhibiting and anti-inflammatory properties.
