AFTERNOR 1.5 mg uncoated - 1 tablet
AFTERNOR is an emergency contraceptive that can be used within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sexual intercourse or after the failure of your usual method of contraception.
AFTERNOR contains a synthetic hormone-like active substance called levonorgestrel. It prevents conception of about 84% of expected pregnancies if used within 72 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse. It does not prevent pregnancy in any case and is the more effective the sooner you use it after unprotected sexual intercourse. It is better to take it within 12 hours than wait until the third day.
If you are already pregnant, AFTERNOR cannot end your pregnancy. AFTERNOR is not an "abortion pill".
Dosage and method of use
Take 1 tablet, swallow it whole with a drink of water. Do not delay using the tablet. The more effective your tablet is from the unprotected sexual intercourse, the more effective it is.
Talk to your pharmacist or doctor if you need further advice on the right dose.
After taking the tablets, contact your doctor as soon as possible to advise you on a reliable form of regular contraception and to avoid pregnancy.
Ingredients
The product contains the active substance levonorgesterel - 1.5 mg / 1 tablet.
The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, poloxamer 188, croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate.
Contraindication
The product is not suitable for pregnant women and is not intended for use before the first menstrual period (first menstruation).
Do not take this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
