Ichtoxyl ointment works against itching, reduces sebum production, has anti-inflammatory and mild disinfectant effect, increases skin blood flow. Ichtoxyl is intended for topical use on the skin:

in infectious and purulent skin diseases
in minor infected injuries
in fungal diseases
for frostbite, pressure sores
u acne

Ichtoxyl ointment may be used by adults. Children from 1 year of age only on the recommendation of a doctor.

Dosage

Adults apply a thin layer of ointment 2-3 times a day to the affected areas. The duration of treatment varies, depending on the type, extent and rate of healing of the disease. Do not use the medicine for more than 2 weeks without consulting your doctor. Children over 1 year of age should only use Ichtoxyl ointment on the advice of a doctor. Ichtoxyl-treated areas should not be exposed to sunlight. Do not use on mucous membranes or in the eyes.

Ingredients

The active substance is ichthammol 90 mg per gram ointment.

The other ingredients are sodium perborate, calcium oxide, potassium aluminum sulfate, wool wool (lanolin), yellow petrolatum, purified water.
