Numerous types of bacteria live in the healthy human intestine. They form the biological community of the intestinal flora and contribute to food utilization and vitamin production.

With BIOFLAIR, a natural inhabitant of the human intestine is introduced, which is characterized by its rapid reproduction, its vitality and its resistance to antibiotics and other influences.

BIOFLAIR supports the natural intestinal colonization in non-specific diarrhea. Pathogenic germs are inhibited in their growth and quickly pushed out of the intestine.

For symptomatic and supportive therapy in acute, uncomplicated diarrheal diseases in adults and children over 12 years of age, in children from 2 - 12 years of age only on the advice of a doctor.
In the case of disturbances in the intestinal flora to support the reconstruction of natural conditions of a disturbed intestinal flora, such as after antibacterial therapy (antibiotics or others).

Contraindications

BIOFLAIR must not be taken

if you are allergic to Enterococcus faecium SF68® or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
in disorders of the immune system (immunosuppression, eg HIV infection).

In the case of autoimmune diseases or existing serious gastrointestinal diseases (Crohn's disease, ulcers, tumors) only use as directed by a doctor.

interactions

Antibiotics can reduce the effect. Do not use at the same time as an oral vaccination.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

An application is possible. The doctor decides whether to use it during pregnancy.

BIOFLAIR contains lactose
This medicinal product contains lactose (milk sugar). Please only take BIOFLAIR after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from sugar intolerance.

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:
Adults 1 capsule 3 times a day; Children from 2 - 12 years 1 capsule twice a day.

Method of administration:
Take with some liquid (water, milk, fruit juice, NO hot drinks).
If you have difficulty swallowing, you can open the capsules and mix the contents with milk, fruit juice or similar; it is important to ensure that the liquid is no longer heated after it has been added.

Duration of use:
In general, it should be taken for 7 days. A longer intake may be appropriate in individual cases after medical advice.
