ARTROCOL - contains all active substances common in joints, cartilage and connective tissues.

GLUCOSAMIN SULPHATE - plays an important role in cartilage metabolism. It stimulates cartilage cells (chondrocytes) to synthesize proteoglycans (the essential building blocks of cartilage) and is the main substrate for their formation. Glucosamine is actively taken up by the cartilage. Glucosamine administration slows the development of already developed cartilage degenerative changes.

CHONDROITIN SULPHATE - is an important part of articular cartilage. It binds large amounts of water, thereby hydrating the cartilage, promoting the formation of proteoglycans and reducing collagenolytic activity. Administration of chondroitin slows down the destructive changes in cartilage, alleviates joint pain, improves mobility and reduces the course of joint inflammation.

MSM - methylsulfonylmethane (or more correctly dimethylsulfone), a substance containing organically bound sulfur, which acts to strengthen ligaments and tendons, suppress inflammation and pain, and to regenerate and relax muscles. It also has strong antioxidant and other positive effects and is a unique source of sulfur compounds that have a positive effect in the body, especially in damaged articular cartilage.

HYALURONIC ACID - is found primarily in connective tissues, where they form the main part of joint synovial fluid. The higher the acid concentration, the better the viscoelastic properties of the cartilage and the better their nutrition. Its administration normalizes the properties of the articular synovial fluid, counteracts cartilage degeneration and restores its original properties.

KOLAGEN- is the main protein of the articular elastic cartilage, where it ensures its firmness, elasticity and resistance. The lack of collagen in the joint and cartilage leads to movement disorders and gradual degenerative changes. Collagen provides strength and elasticity of connective tissues.

VITAMIN C - is necessary for the metabolism of amino acids , particularly amino acids hydroxylysine and hydroxyproline, which are very important for the synthesis of collagen . Vitamin C also plays an indispensable role in the development of bones and cartilage. The lack of vitamin C leads to lower strength of collagen fibers not only in cartilage, but also in ligaments and tendons.Vitamin C also promotes the absorption of iron and promotes the formation of white blood cells, which play an important role in immunity and protect the cells of the body by its antioxidant effect.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

dogs up to 20 kg - 1 teaspoon a day
dogs 20-40 kg - 2 teaspoons a day
dogs 40 kg and over - 3 teaspoons a day
to feed or water according to the habit and popularity of your pet.

Preventive use:
3 month cure with a one-month break - for older animals, in convalescence, fast growing, under physical stress.

Therapeutic use:
Continuously for the duration of treatment. (Surgery, rheumatological diseases, joint pain, lameness)
