Biotin is also known as vitamin H or skin vitamin, as it is essential for keeping the skin and skin appendages (hair and nails) healthy. Scientific studies have shown that brittle nails and hair loss can be improved by taking appropriate amounts of biotin, regardless of a biotin deficiency. This normalizes or improves the condition, as biotin stimulates the formation of keratin, the building material of nails and hair: soft and brittle nails are strengthened, increased hair loss is stopped and the hair quality is improved. BIO-H-TIN 5 mg is used - for soft, brittle, splintering or thin fingernails and nail growth disorders for no apparent cause, for increased hair loss and to improve the quality of hair with brittle or dull hair. - To prevent biotin deficiency symptoms in the case of reduced food consumption (eg deficient diets, slimming diets, loss of appetite) and in the case of increased biotin requirements (eg pregnancy, breastfeeding, growth phase, competitive sport).
