Kaloba oral drops 50 ml
Kaloba is a herbal medicine containing dried extract from the root of the plant Pelargonium sidoides. It is used to treat acute bronchitis without requiring antibiotic therapy.
Symptoms of acute bronchitis:
- Dry, irritable cough with cough pain or damp cough with difficulty coughing
- There may be a fever
- Inflammation of the upper respiratory tract (rhinitis, nasopharyngeal inflammation, scratching in the throat)
Oral drops of Kaloba can be taken by adults, adolescents and children from one year.
How to take Kaloba:
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age use 30 drops three times a day. Children aged 6-12 years use 20 drops three times a day. Children from 1 to 5 years of age are given 10 drops three times a day. After withdrawal of symptoms, it is advisable to continue treatment with Caloba for a few days to prevent the return of the disease. The duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days.
Composition:
The active substance is Pelargonium sidoidis extractum fluidum ( Pelargonium sidoides root extract ) (1: 8-10) (EPs 7630). The extractant is 11% ethanol (m / m). 10 g (= 9.75 ml) of the solution contains 8.0 g of root extract of the plant Pelargonium sidoides
The other ingredients are ethanol 13% (V / V) - part of the extract, glycerol 85%.
Notice:
Kaloba contains 13% ethanol. It should be taken into account in pregnant and breast-feeding women, children and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy.
