Enterol

ENTEROL is an antidiarrheal medicine. Most acute diarrhea is due to a disturbance of the natural intestinal microflora. ENTEROL contains friendly yeasts that modify the intestinal microflora and positively affect the intestinal conditions.

The friendly Saccharomyces Boulardii yeast contained in Enterol temporarily represents the function of the natural intestinal microflora, preventing the intestine from attacking viruses and bacteria, giving the damaged intestinal mucosa and disrupted microflora time to regenerate. Enterol also has a nutritional effect on the intestinal mucosa, thereby contributing to the restoration of the original intestinal microflora.

It is intended for the supportive treatment of acute infectious diarrhea or diarrhea caused by antibiotic treatment. Furthermore, ENTEROL is used to prevent infant diarrhea.

Enterol is available as hard capsules and as a powder for suspension preparation. Children under 4 years of age should only be given in consultation with a doctor.
