Omeprazole Farmax 20 mg is indicated without consulting a physician for the treatment of reflux symptoms (i.e. heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults.

Reflux is the return of the acidic contents of the stomach back to the esophagus, where it can cause inflammation and pain. This can cause symptoms such as a painful burning sensation in the chest rising up to the mouth (heartburn) and a sour sensation in the mouth (acid regurgitation).

Treatment on the recommendation and under the supervision of a doctor:

Omeprazole Farmax 20 mg is indicated for:

Treatment of duodenal ulcers
Prevention of relapse of duodenal ulcers
Treatment of stomach ulcers
Prevention of relapse of stomach ulcers
Eradication of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) in peptic ulcer disease in combination with appropriate antibiotics
Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers associated with the administration of NSAIDs
Prevention of gastric and duodenal ulcers in association with the administration of NSAIDs in high-risk
patients
Treatment of reflux esophagitis
Long-term treatment of patients with healed reflux esophagitis
Treatment of symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux disease
Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
Pediatric population:
Children from 1 year and with weight ? 10 kg
Treatment of reflux esophagitis

Symptomatic treatment of heartburn and acid regurgitation in gastroesophageal reflux disease

Children from 4 years and adolescents

Treatment of duodenal ulcers caused by H. pylori in combination with antibiotics

Dosage and method of use

Treatment without consulting a doctor:

Dosage in adults:

Treatment of reflux symptoms (i.e. heartburn, acid regurgitation)

The recommended dose of Omeprazole Farmax 20mg is 20mg once a day for 14 days. See your doctor if the symptoms of the disease do not go away during this time. Sometimes it may be necessary to take capsules for 2-3 consecutive days before symptoms improve.

Without the recommendation of a doctor, Omeprazole Farmax can only be taken by adult patients.

Composition

The active substance is omeprazole. Each capsule of Omeprazole Farmax contains 20 mg of omeprazole.

Capsule contents: Grained sugar (containing corn starch and sucrose), Sodium lauryl sulfate, Sodium hydrogen phosphate, Mannitol, Hypromellose 2910/6, Makrogol 6000, Talc, Polysorbate 80, Titanium dioxide (E 171), Copolymer MA/EA 1:1 30% dispersion

Capsule cap and body: Gelatin, Quinoline yellow (E 104), Titanium dioxide (E 171)
