Nasic 0.1% Nasal spray 10 ml
Nasic is a nasal spray containing the active substances xylometazoline and dexpanthenol. Xylometazoline has vasoconstrictor effects (inducing vascular contraction) and thus reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa. Dexpanthenol is a derivative of panthotenic acid, a vitamin that promotes wound healing and protects mucous membranes. Nasic is used to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa during rhinitis and to promote healing of disrupted mucosa and skin, to relieve vasomotor rhinitis (manifestations of sparse watery discharge from the nose and nasal congestion) and to treat impaired nasal respiration after nasal surgery. Within a few minutes, the active substance xylometazoline hydrochloride reduces nasal airway swelling. It is intended for adults and children from 6 years of age.

Dosage and method of use
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, adults and children from 6 years of age inject one dose (one injection) into each nostril up to three times a day, as needed.
Do not take Nasic for more than 7 days (3 days for children) without consulting your doctor. Always consult your doctor for the duration of use.
Ingredients
The active substances are dexpanthenol and xylometazoline hydrochloride. The other ingredients are: benzalkonium chloride solution, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, purified water.
One dose of 0.1 ml solution (equivalent to 0.10 g) contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1 mg and dexpanthenol 5.0 mg.
Contraindication
Not suitable for children under 6 years of age, pregnant and nursing.
Do not use Nasic if you are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or dexpanthenol, or to any of the other ingredients, or if you have dry rhinitis sicca.
