Collection: Nurofen

NUROFEN is a remedy for pain, inflammation and fever. Its active ingredient is ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Its mechanism of action is based on the suppression of the formation of substances that are responsible for the development of pain and inflammation.

 NUROFEN for adult patients

Nurofen tablets (400 mg and 200 mg strengths) are used to relieve mild to moderate pain. They can be used for headaches (including migraine), and are well-known for back, toothache, neuralgia, muscle and joint pain, painful postoperative conditions or painful menstruation. Because Nurofen works anti-inflammatory and reduces fever, it is also a good helper for influenza and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract. Nurofen RAPID soft gelatine capsules provide a faster onset of action.

 NUROFEN FOR CHILDREN

Pain, fever and inflammation do not only bother adults. Therefore, NUROFEN brings the proven active substance ibuprofen even to small patients. NUROFEN FOR CHILDREN (strawberry, orange) can be given as a suspension from 3 months of age. NUROFEN tablets for children ACTIVE are 100 mg tablets for children from 6 years of age. Nurofen for children is used to reduce fever and relieve headaches, tooth or ear pain, sore throat, and, in larger children, also for pain associated with sprains or bruises. It may also be used for fever due to vaccination. The dosage of NUROFEN FOR CHILDREN depends on the body weight of the child.

NUROFEN is a medicine for oral use. Contains ibuprofen. Read the package leaflet carefully before use.
