Rhinostas 1mg Nasal Spray 10 ml

This product is used for short-term treatment to reduce the swelling of the nasal mucosa in acute rhinitis, in vasomotor rhinitis (manifested by attacks of thin watery discharge from the nose and stuffy nose), in allergic rhinitis such as hay fever.

In chronic rhinitis, due to the risk of thinning (atrophy) of the nasal mucosa, Rhinostas may only be used on the recommendation of a doctor.

Rhinostas is intended for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age. If you do not feel better within 5 days (within 3 days for children) or if you feel heavier, you must consult a doctor.  

Ingredients:

• the active substance is xylometazoline hydrochloride, 1 ml of solution contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 1.0 mg (0.1%)
• excipients are benzalkonium chloride solution (50%), citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, glycerol 85%, purified water  

Dosage / method of use:

• always take this product exactly in accordance with the package leaflet or according to the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist!
• unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the recommended dose for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age is 1 spray in each nostril as needed, but not more than 3 times a day

Contraindication:

• do not use if you are allergic to the medicinal substance or any other component of this product
• do not use if you suffer from dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis sicca), which is manifested by a feeling of dryness and tingling in the nose, often accompanied by minor bleeding after the separation of dried scabs
• do not use if you have undergone brain suspension surgery or other brain surgery performed through the nose 
• patients with increased intraocular pressure, especially angle-closure glaucoma, should consult a doctor about the use of xylometazoline hydrochloride in the form of nasal drops
• in sensitive patients, cause slight temporary irritation (burning or dryness) of the nasal mucosa

Special storage conditions:

• store at a temperature of up to 25 °C
• do not use after the expiration date stated on the package
