ALAVIS™ Joint nutrition contains substances Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate, which are substances that belong to the group of so-called glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). These substances form a natural part of articular cartilage and joint synovial fluid. Their loss is reflected in the deterioration of joint function and in the acceleration of the development of arthritic changes. From ALAVIS™ Joint Nutrition, these substances are easily absorbed and built into damaged cartilage. Their sufficient supply ensures the long-term proper function of cartilage, its strength, flexibility and resistance. The mechanism of action of these substances is common and consists in chondroprotective action. Active substances are present in the necessary amount and, moreover, in a concentrated form. ALAVIS™ Joint nutrition provides long-term strength, flexibility and resistance of articular cartilage.

Composition
Glucosamine plays a significant role in cartilage metabolism. It stimulates cartilage cells (chondrocytes) to synthesize proteoglycans (basic building blocks of cartilage) and is the main substrate for their formation. Glucosamine is actively taken up by cartilage. Administration of glucosamine slows down the development of already formed degenerative changes in cartilage.
Chondroitin sulfate It is an important part of articular cartilage. It binds a large amount of water, thereby moisturizing cartilage, promoting the formation of proteoglycans and reducing collagenolytic activity. Administration of chondroitin leads to a slowdown of destructive cartilage changes, relieves joint pain, improves mobility and alleviates the course of joint inflammation.
The content of active substances in one tablet:
- Glucosamine sulfát – 500 mg
- Chondroitin sulfát – 400 mg
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium dihydrogen phosphate, magnesium stearate, methylhydroxypropylcellulose. No dyes or preservatives are added to maintain the quality of the product.

Mode of application: Tablets are administered daily according to the recommended dosage directly into the mouth or with a piece of food, eventually crushed into food. The preparation is usually accepted by animals without problems.
Duration of use: Optimally administer the product for three months, then pause for 1-3 months and put the product back on.
Notification
It is possible to administer the product with feeds containing chondroprotective agents. Thus, the positive effect will increase. In case of joint problems, it is advisable to administer ALAVIS Joint nutrition together with ALAVIS™™ Single.
