Alavis Shampoo Chlorhexidine 250 ml

Shampoo for external care of coat and skin enriched with the ingredient chlorhexidine and Aloe vera. Suitable for dogs, cats, ferrets and horses. ALAVIS™ Chlorhexidine shampoo helps reduce the appearance of unwanted microorganisms and helps to heal injuries faster. It is suitable for supporting the treatment of skin diseases.

Method of use: Moisten the coat with warm water and massage the shampoo into the coat until a rich foam is formed. LEAVE THE SHAMPOO ON FOR 5 MINUTES. Then rinse the foam carefully. Shampoo is non-irritating to the eyes and ears but avoid hitting them.

In case of significant skin problems, apply ALAVIS™ Shampoo Chlorhexidine daily, or according to the recommendation of the veterinarian. After improving the condition, extend the intervals according to the condition of the coat and skin. If there is no improvement in the state of health, or the state of health worsens, consult a veterinarian.

Active ingredients: Chlorhexidine digluconate 1% and Aloe vera 1%.

Thanks to its antiseptic properties, chlorhexidine is a widely used substance in both human and veterinary medicine. The mechanism of action consists in disrupting the cell membrane of pathogens. The use in the form of shampoo thus combines the effect of mechanical (washing) and antiseptic.

Aloe vera has been used for thousands of years in folk medicine and its use has spread throughout the world. Aloe gel promotes healing and is applied externally specially to burns, minor injuries and abrasions. When applied, a moisturizing film is formed on the wound surface, which acts as an anti-inflammatory, promotes the growth of fibroblasts and the restoration of collagen, accelerates granulation, improves the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the tissue, and there is a faster restoration of vascular supply. Aloe vera reduces the amount of dead tissue and stimulates cell regeneration.

Aloe vera contains carbohydrates, especially pectins, hemicellulose, glucomannans, acemanans and mannose derivatives. In addition, amino acids, lipids, sterols, tannins, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and salicylic acid are represented. The healing effect is attributed to the contained polysaccharides, especially acemananins.
