Veterinary medicinal product for use in large dogs against flea, tick and / or lice infestations . The insecticidal effect against adult fleas lasts for 8 weeks . The product prevents the reproduction of fleas by suppressing the development of eggs (ovicidal effect), larvae and their developmental stages (larvicidal effect) developed from eggs laid by adult fleas. The product has a lasting acaricidal effect for up to 4 weeks against ticks . Fipnil can also be used as part of a treatment strategy to manage allergic dermatitis after a flea (FAD). It is intended for dogs of large breeds and their puppies from 8 weeks of age and 2 kg in weight.

In the absence of adequate data, the product must not be used in puppies under 8 weeks of age and / or in dogs weighing less than 2 kg. Do not use in sick animals (eg systemic diseases, fever) or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits due to the risk of side effects or death. Due to the absence of studies, the use of the product in non-target species is not recommended. This product is specially developed for dogs. Do not use in cats and ferrets, as this could lead to their overdose.
