CALCIUM 500 mg 20 effervescent tablets
Calcium 500 mg Pharmavit is a lemon-flavored effervescent tablet containing calcium, which is necessary for the proper functioning of muscles and nerves, for bone and tooth growth. The daily calcium requirement varies between 500 and 2000 mg and increases in pregnancy, lactation and growth.
It is used to meet the increased calcium requirement during growth, pregnancy and lactation. It is used as part of treatment for bone thinning (osteoporosis), bone softening (osteomalacia), capillary permeability in allergic reactions, as adjunctive therapy for spasmophilia and tetany (increased nervous irritability prone to muscle spasms) and also supports healing fracture.
It can be used by adults, adolescents and children over 5 years of age.
The pack contains 20 effervescent tablets.
Dosage and method of use
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Unless the doctor tells you otherwise, adults take 1-2 tablets a day.
Administer 1 tablet once a day to children 5 years of age and adolescents.
Dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of water (about 200 ml) and drink it completely after dissolution. Use it with or immediately after a meal.
It can be used to meet the increased calcium requirement for 2 months without consulting your doctor. If you are taking the medicine on the recommendation of your doctor, the dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor.
Ingredients
Calcium 500 mg Pharmavit contains the active substance calcium carbonate. Each effervescent tablet contains 1250 mg calcium carbonate (equivalent to 500 mg calcium).
The other ingredients are riboflavin phosphate sodium salt, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, macrogol, saccharin sodium, lemon flavor.
