Neocate Infant is a product intended for controlled dietary nutrition in cow's milk protein allergy , multiple food allergies and other indications requiring amino acid-based nutrition. This hypoallergenic infant formula is a nutritionally complete amino acid formula, suitable for babies in the first year of life. It is administered only under medical supervision .

Ingredients

Use
- Wash your hands and sterilize any utensils you will need.
- Boil the baby water, let it cool.
- Measure the boiled water into a sterilized bottle. Do not reuse boiled water.
- Measure the powder into the water using the included measuring cup. Do not press the powder and level the measuring cup with a clean and dry knife. Use only the included measuring cup.
- Never add more scoops than stated or anything else to the formula.
- Shake the closed bottle thoroughly to dissolve the powder. Remove the cap and replace it with a sterile teat.
- Check the temperature of the milk mixture by dripping it on the inside of your wrist and serve.
- If you do not use the nutrition within one hour of preparation, discard the contents of the bottle. Food must not be heated during administration.
- Do not use a microwave oven when preparing food. Do not overcook the food.
- Close the can tightly after each use. Do not insert a wet measuring cup.
- Store in a dry and cool place.
- Consume within 1 month of first opening.
Dosage
One level scoop contains approximately 4.5 g of powder. To achieve the recommended concentration (13.5% by volume), add one level scoop of powder for every 30 ml of water. The osmolality of the food at the recommended concentration (e.g. 13.5 g of powder diluted with water per 100 ml of food) is 340 mOsmol / kg H2O. The amount and dilution of nutrition will be determined by a physician or a staff member qualified in the field of clinical nutrition, depending on the age, body weight and health status of the patient. The dosage shown in the table on the packaging is only indicative.
