Beldimet contains the active substance dimetinden maleate, which belongs to the group of antihistamines. Beldimet is used for short-term relief of itching in dermatoses (itchy skin diseases), such as skin rashes and urticaria, insect bites, sunburn, and first degree superficial burns (skin redness).
Beldimet inhibits itching by blocking the effect of histamine released by the body during an allergic reaction. After the gel has passed through the skin, itching and irritation alleviate within minutes. It also has a local anesthetic effect.

Dosage and method of use
Apply the gel to the affected area of skin 2? 4 times a day.

Ingredients

Contraindication
Read the package leaflet carefully.
Do not use Beldimet if you are allergic to dimetinden maleate or any of the other ingredients.
Avoid using Beldimet on large areas of the skin in infants and young children.
Do not apply Beldimet to large areas of the skin during pregnancy and lactation, especially if there are open and inflamed wounds. If you are breast-feeding, do not use this medicine on breasts, including nipples.
