Sandoz Toppoll 10 mg tablets
Toppoll tablets belong to the group of antihistamines and are suitable for treating allergy-related inflammations in the nose, e.g. B. hay fever and chronic hives of unknown cause.
Contraindications
Do not take Toppoll if you are allergic to loratadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Food does not affect the effectiveness of Toppoll. Toppoll has not been proven to increase the effects of an alcoholic beverage.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility
The use of Toppoll is not recommended during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
application
Method of administration:
The tablets should be taken regardless of meals. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water.
side effects
The most commonly reported side effects in adults and children over 12 years of age are:
- drowsiness
- headache
- appetite increase
- insomnia
The most commonly reported side effects in children aged 2 to 12 years are:
- headache
- nervousness
- fatigue
The following very rare side effects (affects less than 1 user in 10,000) have also been observed in post-marketing experience with loratadine:
- Severe allergic reactions (including swelling)
- dizziness
- cramps
- Fast or irregular heartbeat
- nausea
- Dry mouth
- stomach upset
- liver problems
- hair loss
- skin rash
- fatigue
The frequency of the following side effects is not known:
- weight gain

- The active substance is loratadine. Each tablet contains 10 mg loratadine.
- The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, maize starch and colloidal anhydrous silica
