Application areas:
- for preoperative skin antisepsis and postoperative sutures
- before laying vascular catheters (e.g. CVC)
- before injections and blood draws
- before punctures, excisions, cannulations and biopsies
- for suture repair
Application:
Stability after use: 18 months
Before all invasive procedures
- Use octeniderm ® undiluted
- Spray the affected skin area or alternatively rub off with a soaked swab
- ensure complete wetting of the skin
- Observe exposure times according to area of application
Before joint punctures and during preoperative skin antisepsis
- Mechanically shorten or chemically remove hair on the affected skin area
- preoperative washing (eg with octenisan ® ) recommended
For postoperative sutures
- Dab off excess amounts of preparation
