Erwo Pharma Zintona 10 capsules
Zintona is a herbal medicine for nausea.
Areas of application: Herbal medicine to prevent the symptoms of travel sickness (kinetosis) such as dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Symptomatic treatment of mild forms of vomiting and nausea in early pregnancy (up to the 16th week of pregnancy).
This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children over 6 years of age.
If you do not feel better or worse after 2-3 days, contact your doctor.
Contraindications
Do not take Zintona if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to ginger or any of the ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
interactions
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or might take/use any other medicines. Caution is advised if you are also taking medicines to thin the blood. Interactions with other drugs are not known.
pregnancy and breast feeding period
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. It can be used in early pregnancy up to the 16th week of pregnancy. Use during lactation cannot be recommended due to insufficient data.
application
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
The recommended dose is:
Travel sickness: For adults and children over 6 years: take 2 capsules whole with liquid ½ hour before departure, then 2 capsules every 4 hours.
Maximum daily dose: 6 capsules
Pregnancy Vomiting and Nausea: Take 2 capsules whole with liquid in the morning; if symptoms recur, 2 more capsules can be taken.
Maximum daily dose: 4 capsules
side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
When using medicines containing ginger, cases of heartburn or belching or gastric pressure have occurred, headaches or tiredness have also been observed. Skin and respiratory tract hypersensitivity reactions have been reported following direct contact with medicinal products containing ginger. There are no specific studies available on the frequency of these possible side effects.
