For whom is OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD suitable?

Antibiotics are true “miracle weapons” for diseases caused by harmful bacteria. However, many are not aware that the intestines are severely affected by these drugs: antibiotic therapy not only attacks harmful bacteria, but also radically depletes our "good" intestinal inhabitants. The result: a real "clear cut" in the intestine! This allows harmful and dangerous germs (such as Clostridium difficile) and their toxins to multiply rapidly.

This imbalance in the intestine can lead to diarrhea, the so-called antibiotic-associated diarrhea. Antibiotic-associated diarrhea is present when colicky pain and abdominal cramps or more than three bowel movements a day occur, the stool is very soft to liquid and the amount of stool has increased significantly. These symptoms can appear immediately or even weeks after the first antibiotic intake.

With every antibiotic intake, the variety (= diversity) of the bacterial strains in our intestines is also reduced. However, a high diversity of intestinal bacteria is absolutely necessary so that the intestine can fully fulfill its diverse tasks (e.g. breakdown, absorption and formation of nutrients, production of immune cells, supply of energy).

Therefore: With every antibiotic therapy, support the intestine with specially selected intestinal bacteria (e.g. OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD) in order to regulate the balance of the intestinal flora!

How does OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD work?

Extensive studies show that OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD can regulate the side effects of antibiotic therapy - namely the bacterial imbalance (= imbalance) in the intestine - and can rebuild the intestinal flora.

OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for diet management in the event of an imbalance in the intestinal flora during and after the administration of antibiotics.

The 10 scientifically researched bacterial strains it contains have the following properties and characteristics, to which the product owes its intended purpose:

• Also settle in the intestine during antibiotic therapy
• Prevent the proliferation of germs such as Clostridium difficile
• Reduce the release of toxins by Clostridium difficile

How is OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD used?

Stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD (= 5 g) into approx. 1/8 l water twice a day during the entire antibiotic therapy, wait at least 1 minute for activation, stir again and then drink.

After the antibiotic therapy, take 1 sachet once a day for 14 days if possible.

Ideally, there should be a gap of at least 1 hour between taking OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD and the antibiotic.

Children up to 3 years take half the dosage.

It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach. If you take OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD twice a day, it is recommended to use it before breakfast and before dinner.

If you suffer from fructose intolerance, you should extend the activation time to at least 30 minutes. During this time, the bacteria metabolize all of the fructo-oligosaccharides. This means that no fructose gets into the intestines.
