Conjugated linoleic acid from safflower oil 
Conjugated linoleic acids (CLA) are a group of modified forms of the essential linoleic acid and belong to the group of polyunsaturated fatty acids. It has been shown that the average European consumes only about 300 mg of conjugated linoleic acids per day from food. Pure Encapsulations ^® CLA 1000 mg contains Tonalin ^® , which is naturally derived from safflower oil using an innovative process. Like all Pure Encapsulations ^{® products}CLA 1000 mg is also characterized by its quality, bioavailability and tolerability. In order to ensure the high product quality in the long term and sustainably, the entire process from production to storage is continuously checked. Internal and external quality controls are carried out in every single step.

The conjugated linoleic acid is obtained from safflower oil using a patented extraction process (Tonalin CLA ^® ). 
Tonalin CLA ^® is an exclusively licensed product from BASF Personal Care and Nutrition GmbH.
