Effect

Synthetic broad-spectrum antifungal agent (inhibitor of ergosterol synthesis).

Application

Mycoses of the skin, erythrasma, tinea, pityriasis versicolor, superficial candidiasis.

Method of application

For application and rubbing.

Dosage

Once a day (late in the evening), apply a thin layer to the infected areas of the skin (1 cm strand length for a palm-sized area). Treatment time 2-4 weeks.

Contraindications

Pregnancy/breastfeeding

Do not apply in the 1st trimester, then benefit/risk assessment. Do not breastfeed.

Side effects

Local reactions (redness, burning, dandruff).

Interactions

Caution: Warfarin.

Warnings

Do not bring into contact with the eyes. Hygiene education. In infants and young children, use only under medical supervision. Antifungal treatment of the skin of the nail bed only after keratolytic removal of the fungal infected nail substance.
