Why use ALAVIS ™ Protective and healing balm to treat dog paws?

Due to its characteristics, the active substance hemagel has shown that:

• chemically binds oxygen radicals that are produced by inflammatory processes

Composition:

ALAVIS ™ Protective and healing balm contains the active substance HEMA-HAS (hemagel) based on a cross-linked copolymer of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate containing polymer-bound sterically shielded amino groups, developed by the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry AS CR. Unique composition allows to chemically bind oxygen radicals, which arise during inflammatory processes, accelerates wound healing process, reduces the risk of complicated healing and suppresses pain in the wound. It creates a surface layer that acts like a second skin, helping to protect against external influences and creating a favorable environment for the healing of both acute and chronic wounds and damage to dog paw pads. The wet environment provided by the active substance haemagel is a modern and fundamental principle of wound treatment. Stable moisture in the wound prevents it from drying out, helping to speed up the healing process.

Use:

• Clean dog paw pads from mechanical debris such as dust particles. 
• Apply a small amount of ointment to the entire pad of dog paws. 
• Apply the balm several times a day as needed.

Notice:

ALAVIS ™ Protective and healing balm can be used after opening for the entire shelf life. The product must not be used after the expiry date stated on the tube. Not for indoor use.
