Almirall Optiderm Fat Cream 50 g
Optiderm Fat Cream is a medicine for the supportive treatment of skin diseases with itching and skin dryness.
Optiderm fat cream contains 2 active ingredients, urea and polidocanol.
Urea is a substance that can also be found in the skin as a component of the natural moisturizing factors.
urea increases the water-binding capacity of the layer; in addition, antibacterial, antipruritic and mild anesthetic effects are attributed to this substance, among others. Urea is not allergic.
Polidocanol, a surface anesthetic, has an analgesic and antipruritic effect. The local tolerability of polidocanol is good. Due to the combination of these two active ingredients, Optiderm fat cream has significant pain and itching relief properties. The moisture content of the skin is also significantly increased.
In addition, Optiderm Fat Cream causes a significant moisturizing of the skin and thus a reduction in skin roughness. If the skin does not need a pronounced moisturizing, Optiderm cream is at your disposal.
Optiderm fat cream is applied
- for moisture regulation of the layer
- for greasing and relieving itching as a supportive treatment of skin diseases with very dry and/or itchy skin such as atopic eczema (neurodermatitis) or for damage to the skin due to dehydration, caused e.g. by detergents and exsiccation eczema
- for further and follow-up treatment of the skin diseases mentioned.
