Ambroxol AL 7.5 mg/ml drops 100 ml

Ambroxol AL drops are used to treat acute diseases   of the respiratory tract , accompanied by increased production of viscous bronchial mucus and its difficult coughing. These are inflammations of the bronchi, trachea, larynx, sinuses and colds. The preparation is used to treat wet cough . Ambroxol AL drops are intended for adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age. The product should only be administered to children under 2 years of age on the recommendation of a doctor.

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 4 ml 3 times a day at the beginning of treatment, later the dose is reduced to 2 ml 3 times a day or 4 ml of solution 2 times a day. Children aged 6-12 use 2 ml of solution 2-3 times a day. Children aged 2-5 years use 1 ml of solution 3 times a day. Children under 2 years of age use 1 ml of solution twice a day (on the doctor's recommendation). Take the drops with a meal diluted with tea, fruit juice, milk or water. If you do not feel better within 5 days (within 3 days for children), consult your doctor about further treatment. Do not take for more than 5 days without consulting a doctor.

The active substance is ambroxol hydrochloride 7.5 mg in 1 ml (15 drops).

Excipients are benzoic acid, anhydrous citric acid, sodium cyclamate, sodium bisulfite, propylene glycol, crystallizing sorbitol 70%, purified water, sodium hydroxide solution 1 MOL/L.

The preparation contains sorbitol, which must be taken into account in case of intolerance to certain sugars. The contained sodium bisulfite (E 223) can cause allergic reactions and narrowing of the bronchi.
