ApoLife "base powder" is sodium-free and consists of basic calcium, magnesium and potassium salts. Basic electrolyte salts shift an acid-heavy metabolic situation caused by our carbohydrate- and protein-rich diet in the direction of basic metabolism. An oversupply of acidic metabolites promotes inflammatory processes in the body.
