Active ingredients:
Comfrey ( Symphytum ) - One of the most well-known and widely used folk remedies to heal wounds and bruises. The active substances are allantoin, pyrrolizidine alkaloids, tannins, sterols, etc. It has a beneficial effect on wound healing, sprain, strain on muscles or joints. It can also be applied to cracked skin, possibly to reduce swelling. The herb helps with varicose veins and ulcers, but it is not advisable to use it for open wounds.
Camphor ( Camphora) - The substance contained in some vegetable essential oils, originally obtained from the wood of a camphor. Today, this substance is produced synthetically. Important is the external use of camphor in ointments and lubrication. The substance is used as a derivative (blood circulation in the skin), antirheumatics and in neuralgia.
Eucalyptus essential oil ( Oleum eucalypti ) - Essential oil is obtained from the leaves of the Eucalyptus globulus . It contains eucalyptol, which smells pleasant and is a source of healing effects. For internal use, essential oil is useful in bronchitis to release mucus and facilitate expectoration. Externally, eucalyptus has antibacterial effects, reduces muscle tension and cramps and brings relief to headaches. Used to massage bruises and strained muscles.
Vitamin E (Tocopheryl acetate ) - A natural antioxidant that effectively protects cells from oxidative stress and the effects of free radicals, helping to slow down the aging process. Its effect is also manifested in wound healing.
Chlorophyll ( Chlorophylum ) - Green plant dye contained in plastids. It is a complex pyrrole magnesium-containing dye. The substance has anti-inflammatory effects, accelerates epithelization and skin granulation. It is used in the treatment of pressure ulcers, burns, purulent skin infections, wounds and necrosis.
